This is the starting page of a route between the regions of Italy, where for each area of the country we list the main destinations to see, what to do and how to organize themselves. In the pages dedicated to each region there are links to individual articles on different destinations , for a weekend trip or even for a long vacation. For some regions articles abound, for others less, but more and more trips will be added and recommended.

Follow Tuscany and Lombardy ... but every regions of Italy stands out for varieties of beauties, so much so that in reality often would not be enough a long journey to the region to see everything. In short, take advantage of the individual pages on the regions and various trips to calmly discover our wonderful country.
good reading !!

I quote some other useless statistics on the regions of Italy, to inspire your travel itinerary. The most populous is Lombardy, the largest La Sicily , while the smallest and least populated is the Aosta Valley.
in the center-south, only Umbria is not bathed by the Mediterranean, while in the north there are 4 regions without sea.

And you have never observed that Piedmont, Trentino, Veneto, Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise are Regions from the masculine name ? And that women are in great majority (Valle d'Aosta, Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, Liguria, Tuscany, Marche, Umbria, Campania, Puglia, Calabria, Basilicata, Sardinia and Sicily)? And that Friuli Venezia Giulia is a bit uncertain about your sexuality? Male begins, but then think of it!

The region Less visited is the Molise, very detached from the penultimate (Basilicata). The most visited city from tourists is obviously Rome, follow (very detached) Milan, Venice and Florence.

Italy, strangely, is not the most visited country in the world. Yet, abound to attractive like no other, with incredibly different and superiorly beautiful tourist destinations that we even forget. I hope the pages that describe each region help us remember our beauties.
