Kayak a Sestri Levante, Liguria sestri levante, moneglia, framura, levanto in canoe
This section of the coast of Liguria is less famous than Portofino and the Cinque Terre, but it is equally amazing and gives great satisfactions to those who Travel by kayaking or stand up paddle. The old Ligurian houses on the sea of Sestri Levante and Bonassola alternate to wild nature; You can stop in canoe on beaches that can be reached only by sea or on rocks on which to sunbathe and from which to enjoy the view. The maritime pines are back to gray and red rocks from very particular shapes. And, moreover, there is some small cave in which to venture with the kayak.

There is no Liguria (and perhaps even in the rest of the world) a stretch of more impressive coast. For the kayak and sup passionate a continuous joy: the wild coast between Levanto and Monterosso , the characteristic countries of the five lands (Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore), The red cliffs of sunsets and Ligurian houses and the abbey of the spectacular Portovenere .

The most beautiful canoe trips

Finally This is my staff ranking of the top 5 canoe or sup trips to take a day (simple excursions, from 10-12 km, excluding deviations) in Liguria of Levante. A very difficult selection! But I try:

1) Riomaggiore - Portovenere, described on the page relating to Cinque Terre .
2 ) Framura - Monterosso, whose description is riding between the page on the Canoe from Tigullio in Levanto and that on the kayak at five o'clock Terre .
3) Camogli - Portofino, described in the page on Kayak in Portofino .
4) Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto, the three islands described on the page relating to the Canoe at the Cinque Terre .
5) Sestri Levante - Moneglia, to read Here (by canoe from Tigullio in Levanto) .
Bonus (because I'm biased) Chiavari - Portofino, always described On the page on the Kayak in Portofino .

You will notice that the first 5 cover about half of the coast between Genoa and Portovenere, and that incredibly transides URANE the coast of the Cinque Terre between Monterosso and Riomaggiore ... in short, the beauty contest among the canoeist itineraries in Liguria is really fought!
